Is the reserve draft a snake draft?
The constitution doesn't say snake draft so wanted to double check.
Thanks. Bob

Hi Bob, No, the Reserve Draft is not a snake draft -- the order of picks is the same in every round, except where there have been trades. Actually, there is a slight element of snakishness in years where we've got a new team coming in (such as this year). In that case, the new team gets the last pick in odd-numbered rounds and the first pick in even-numbered rounds. So, for example, this year, the Red Hots will have the 12th pick overall (last in 1st round) and 13th pick (first in 2nd round). Since Jason had traded away a number of his draft picks, and it wouldn't be fair to take them away from the teams that acquired them, there will be some rounds where there are 13 picks -- Jason's original pick (now owned by another team) and Bob's pick at the beginning or end of the round (depending on whether it's odd- or even-numbered). An example would be Round 2 -- the Red Hots draft first overall (pick #13), but the Reservoir Dogs' old pick is now owned by the Lambchops, so they'll draft in the Dogs' spot (which is now 12th in the round, #24 overall), and the Copperfields draft 13th in the round (#25 overall). A full listing of all 210 Rotation Draft picks is in an Excel spreadsheet posted in the Download Center ( www.geocities.com/copgeek/download.html) on the website. I'll have printed copies for everyone on Draft Day. David
