How is it that Fukudome (brilliant, brilliant job by the Rebels Far-East Scouting Team) can go 3 for 3 with two walks and Sportsline says he had a 1.000 OBP for the day, yet Prince Fielder (brilliant, brilliant job by the Rebels Deep Minor League Scouting Team) can go 3 for 3 with two walks and his OBP for the day is reported as .833?
On top of which, Howry comes in yesterday with a three run lead, has a 1-2-3 inning and doesn't get a H/S, but Brocail gives up four runs in 1/3 of an inning and he gets a Hold.
I've come to the realization that it was the drafting of Velez, Hopper or Spilbourghs (horrible, horrible job by the Rebels Man At The Draft Team) that is keeping me from first. It's Sportsline's stat department.

Hmmm. Maybe I should better understand the calculation before I complain. I was under the impression that it was hits plus walks divided by at bats (outs/hits/walks).
Live and learn.
