In another thread, Rich relates his recent encounter with Randy Hundley. He mentioned that he remembered Hundley's last season with the Cubs and in checking baseball-reference.com to determine what year that was, I discovered that another player had his last (and only) season with the Cubs that same year.
Here's the trivia question:
In 1973, Randy Hundley played his last full season with the Cubs. That same year, another player made his last appearance with the team. That player is currently managing a major league team. Who is it?

On my honor I have not consulted Baseball Reference.com. So here's my guess.
Tony LaRussa

LaRussa it is. Nicely done!
Not that LaRussa contributed much to the Cubs' haplessness that year -- 1 Game, 0 AB, 1 RS.
I guess he must have been a pinch runner in that one game...
