Aloha,
There is only one team in the Major Leagues that can boast that all five of their starting pitchers are former All-Stars. Who is this team? *cue Jeopardy music*
Matt
PS. In fact, there have only been 3 or 4 teams since the '70s that can say the same thing ...

I actually know this one though I did have to look up some of the dates--the Cubbies:
1. Greg Maddux (1988, 1992, 1994-1998, 2000) 2. Ryan Dempster (2000) 3. Kerry Wood (2003) 4. Mark Prior (2003) 5. Carlos Zambrano (2004)
As for the others, I'm not certain...but wouldn't one of the Dodger's Koulfax years be one?

Good morning,
Now before you all go thinking I'm some sort of super genius or something, I got all the following information from the Cubs' MLB site. Yes, there is occasionally some good info going on there ...
2000 Braves (Glavine, Maddux, Millwood, Burkett, Mulholland)
1973 Dodgers (Andy Messersmith, Claude Osteen, Don Sutton, Tommy John, Al Downing)
1972 Dodgers (Osteen, Sutton, John, Downing, Bill Singer)
1968 Cleveland Indians (they're an AL team Dave) (Sam McDowell, Luis Tiant, Sonny Siebert, Steve Hargan, Stan Williams)
Some guy from Provo, Utah mailed in his observation that the Cubs' starting staff was all former All-Stars and asked if there had ever been another staff that did the same. It's in the mailbag from 4/14. They also set a minimum of 20 starts so if that threshold is lowered, I'm sure there would be others that would qualify. Mahalo
