I'm putting this under "Trivia" because it really doesn't fit anywhere else, and it is kind of a trivial thing (I think we may need a general, non-baseball forum for stuff like this). I have gotten hooked on this.
My furthest hit went 587.1 feet. That was last Friday. All told, I have hit 12 out my 70 penguins greater than 500 feet. But those 70 doesn't include pitches I have whiffed on, which I guestimate to be about half.

OK, here's my stats. 587.6 - longest. 492 longest with no bounce. When it bounces it just feels like astroturf.

Almost another hour and no records. I have had about 10 492.9s but couldn't catch you...yet!

Haven't been tracking my bounce v no bounce, but now ...
My current no bounce best is 485.5. After another week of practice whacking, I'll have everybody beat.

Guys, Bad news, I am going to have to shut it down for a few weeks. It seems that in my quest to set new records I may have strained my rotator cuff in my hitting knuckle. Lots of pain and the only treatment is elevation.
