I will be at the Cubs game Thursday afternoon to watch Mr. Wood pitch for the first time this year. While they have not always won the game I have attended history shows that the Cubs go on runs after I attend a game............let's hope that continues and that Woody throws a good one.
If watching the game......Look down the third base line past the dugout......2nd row......most probably wearing my Prior jersey.

Hopefully you can give him and the Cubs the luck they need. I'll be at the Sox-Cubs game Friday, my first-ever Crosstown Classic game. My seats should be pretty good - right next to the Sox dugout and within shouting distance of the Ozzie Guillen. I move to Cincinnati Saturday, so it's fitting that one of my last acts as a Chicagoan will be a game in Sox Park. Who should I root for?  |

Wood didn't look too bad for his first time out........looked rusty with the slider/curve and location was hit and miss as evidence by the three homers.......hopefully Baker keeps with the limited pitch count on him for the year......time will tell.
What the heck was the deal with Nifty Perez bunting in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and he was the winning run down two? Dusty couldn't have called that.......I guess he doesn't have a lot of confidence with his .200 average. I had to do a double take to the scoreboard to see if there was two outs......ridiculous!
