In an effort to get a Web Gem, that gargantuan walrus bellyflopped to the grouch to swallow up Raffy's bunt attempt and underhand flip it to Lee at first. What a total and complete moron. If he had just ate the da*n ball just like those thousands of pizzas he's inhaled in the last couple of years, DLee would still be in the lineup. This jerkoff just about singlehandedly ruined any chance the Cubs had at making the playoffs this year ... Mahalo

Fully, fully agree! Of course it was an accident, but he had absolutely NO CHANCE to nail Furcal. If it was the catcher running (or a ninety year old), maybe it's possible.

When I saw what happened (and the 15 replays 'GN or Comcast provided) my guy reaction was "If Lee is hurt, I'm waiving Eyre's ass".

I probably should just out of principle.
