Good evening y'all, I know Bruce and Kelly aren't around anymore, but I thought we still had a couple of Pale Hose fans here. I'm looking right at you Paul ... I'm glad they made it and hope they can win another 4 games against whoever wins in the NL. What a game tonight, BTW. Note to Contreras, do NOT throw Pujols a hanging slider down and away. Boy, that ball was crushed. I'm just glad to see one of our teams in the World Series in my lifetime. I don't know about you suburbanites, but I've always lived in the city and live and die with all our teams. It won't be the same if the Cubs were in the Series naturally, but it is sweet. So I hope we can put aside our allegences and root for the Sox to bring home a winner for the Windy City. And maybe, just maybe, all that good karma will bound back on us suffering Cubs' fans and it'll be our turn next year. And besides, who else are you going to root for this year anyways? The Cardinals? *ACK* I'd rather pull out my pubes with a pair of rusty pliers and then jump into a vat of lemon juice. Their fans are almost as arrogant as Yankee fans. F the Astros too. I'm still bitter about the end of last season .... So let's all hold hands and say a few Kumbayas or something. Um, maybe not. See you all on Hallowween Eve dudes. Mahalo Matt

Matt - With all due respect, I've got your Kumbaya right here. While I can appreciate what White Sox fans are experiencing (who am I kidding, I can't appreciate it since they are five outs further than anything I've EVER experienced), but I'm not enjoying it.
You guys can call me selfish, but as a Cub fan I don't want the White Sox to get to the promised land before we do. Had things turned out differently in 2003, I might feel a little more compassionate, but for now I am a HUGE Cardinal/Astro fan.
And, of course since I'm a Cub fan cheering for the Astros, they blow it with one strike to go last night. From a baseball perspective it was an awesome game. From the perspective of sending a team to the Series that could beat the Sox, it sucked. Less time off for the Astros.
See y'all on the 30th.
