Hey guys, I don't know if you heard this but Monday night on WGN Radio (AM 720) they are going to rebroadcast the "Sandburg Game" at 7pm. It's being billed as "the game with extras". Tune in and enjoy the game that earned Sandburg the MVP in '84.

Rich thanks for the tip, I will be sure to tune in, that is of course if I am done worming the Dog by then!
Oops, I guess I didn't read the headline! Go Brewers.
By the way, when is the Robin Yount game going to be on, or should I say gameS! Two time MVP!

Rich, Thanks for the tip - I hadn't heard about this!
FYI, Chicago SportsNet (CSN) is also rebroadcasting the game (I assume it will be the NBC Game of the Week broadcast) at 6:30 PM on Saturday 7/30. Before that, they've got something called "Ryne Sandberg: The Call to the Hall".
Unfortunately, the game rebroadcast will overlap with NBC's "West Wing" double feature, but the game will be shown again on ESPN Classic at 3:00 PM on Sunday and 1:00 AM on Monday.
ESPN Classic has broadcast the game before, but it was an abbreviated version, peppered with a ton of commercials. Hopefully the CSN and WGN showings will be the complete game.
I'm especially looking forward to the WGN broadcast -- it will be great to hear the Cubs' broadcasters doing the game. I remember listening to the beginning of the game at work -- Minnesota Fabrics, where I worked for early CFCLer and Cardinal fan/Cub hater Bob Monroe. Unfortunately, the beginning of the game was all Cardinals so I had to undergo severe harrassment and abuse for the early part of the afternoon. I was thankful when Bob finally left for the day, but was wishing he was still around when Sandberg worked his magic.

At the same time as "The Call to the Hall" (6:00 PM on 7/30), WGN TV will be hosting their own tribute show: Dan Roan hosts "Ryne Sandberg: Second to None," live from the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum in Cooperstown, New York, on Saturday July 30 from 6-6:30pm.
The live special will relive magic moments of Sandberg's career and feature interviews with former teammates and fellow Hall of Famers as well as updates on the festivities of Hall of Fame Induction Weekend.
