Tuesday (08-15-04) was the 47th anniversary of Phillies Hall of Famer Richie Ashburn fouling off a pitch that hit a female fan in the nose. In the same at-bat, he fouled off another pitch that struck the same fan while paramedics were taking her out of Connie Mack Stadium.
