Less than 30 hours left for you contenders to secure the final pieces for your potential Championship roster, and I've still got the following available:
Chris Capuano (.06B) - As a couple of you already know, I will consider trading him - that's not to say it will be easy to get him, though.
Jose Vidro (.18D) - Due off the DL (hamstring) this week.
Takashi Saito (.24D) - Just acquired ... while his salary could make things tight with the cap, the LA closer could make a big difference when 14 saves separate 4th place from 10th in the HoSv category. Add in his WHIP under 1.00 and K:BB over 4.0 and he could be a key contribitor.
Ramon Castro (.02C), Brian Schnieder (.04B), Brad Ausmus (.02D) - these catchers won't set the world afire with their bats, but hit enough to hold down the fort and enable you to beef up on salary elsewhere.
Steve Finley (.07D) - It seems that either Alou or Bonds is going down with some injury every other day, with the result the Finley is playing almost fulltime. At this price, he makes a good cheap offensive alternative.
Phil Nevin (.18D) - Another guy benefiting from injury - with D-Lee out, he's been playing nearly everyday. Not an OBP machine, but has show great power since coming to the Cubs.
Assorted other bits and pieces are available - if you really need starting pitching, Eric Milton and Byung Kim can be had, as can Aaron Cook if the price is right.
