Aloha,
Looking ahead to my final roster cutdown before the draft, I'm faced with a conumdrum. I think I'll have too many starting 1Bs. Mike Jacobs loses his catching eligibility so I'll have to slot him at first along with Niekro and Conor Jackson. Jacobs is the clear front runner for the Marlin job and with JT Snow prowling the bag in Boston now, Lance looks to have a solid lock on 1st in SF. Jackson, though most likely the best player of the three, has the shakiest hold on his starting job as he has Tony Clark and his 30 HRs breathing down his back.
All are cheap with tons of upside. If anyone is in the market, give me a holla. The only thing is that I'm not going to give one away though. If I don't get enough value in return, I'll just stick Jackson on reserve and wait until June 1 to activate him. Take it easy guys. Talk to you later. Mahalo
