There I was at the Cubs' game tonight, enjoying a great game when the 9th inning started. WHAT? WHY? Who thought it'd be a good idea to let Scotty "Gascan" Eyre start the inning? Oh well, even he can't give up a 5 run lead, right? 
15 pitches later the New Cubs' Closer comes in. Where's Marmol? Why not give Howry the night off? What the FRICK are you thinking Dusty Pinella? 4 pitches later, the Rockies have the lead.
I got so pissed off (mainly because Tulowitzke is still rotting on my bench) that I get up and do what I never do. I leave the game early. So I miss the drunken retard run onto the field. I heard about it as I was walking out the door and almost went back but I was too mad. Naturally, once I get back to my car parked at Engine 55 on Halsted, the game is over and I hear that they won.
Now I don't know what pisses me off the most. The fact that they bailed out DP and I missed it. Or that they gave up a half dozen runs in the top of the ninth inning. AGAIN!!! I know they did this another time this year. Missing out on Tulowitzke's 3 run HR is only slightly less annoying. Sunday can't get here fast enough and I can finally, FINALLY activate him ..... Mahalo
