I took a quick break and checked the live scoring at Sportsline. The only game this afternoon (Marlins at Braves) had just finished.

How close are the standings in some of the categories? Renyel Pinto of the Rebels threw 7 pitches in the game, facing three hitters. He even retired one of them. Even so, just those 7 pitches cost the Rebels 4 points in the standings (three points in pitching categories, and the other point because one of the hits Pinto gave up was a 2-run homer that moved the Stones ahead of the Rebels in RBI)!

Now that's just uncalled for! After the first three weeks of the season my pitching has sucked more than Hoover and Orick combined.

Personally I blame the DoorMatts. Not only did they attend the Cubs game where Zambrano turned into the Ultimate Fighter, but they also probably called Pinto and asked him to blow up. The DoorMatts are still beside themselves that Hunter Pence is now a Studly Rebel.
