In this weeks Monroe Doctrine, Rich speaks of Clemens who just happens to be on the roster of Mo's Red Hots (stupid Yankees....he couldn't be a mercinary for the Stros just one more year!!). Later in the wonderful doctrine he mentions Bob Howry retiring only his problem was being unable to retire a Philly batter. Howry is also on the Red Hot's roster......and active....ouch.
Coincidence? Unknown by Rich? or sly, witty, pot shot at the Red Hots roster?

Bob at least you don't have a section dedicated to you about pissing your pants.
OK that's enough from me, Rich might tell me to hurry up or Matt might get pissy. It happens whenever I post or draft. Bye.

Bob -
Completely coincidental. I usually try to spread the potshots around starting with yours truly. I was just in a lather over Clemens and then wrote the Doctrine on the night that Howry and Ohman decided to be arsonists and Howry's stats were just worse than Oman's.
Steve, the Brewers link was provided by the creator of the CFCL Report. My creativity is usually fully tapped out by the last line of the Monroe Doctrine - if not much sooner.
Also - Note to the rest of the league.
If you had any concerns about the Rebels taking up one of the money spots at year's end, place your fears on hold. With laser like precision the Rebels reserved Carlos the Emotional Bag of . . . just in time for him to throw a lights out performance at the Mets. I can hardly wait to see how well he pitches in his second start this week, allowing the Rebels to fall even further behind the Picts in QS. Now is about the time that I will generally manage the Rebels to their normal out of the money place in the standings.

Nah Steve, I'm much too busy watching Justin Upton hit another Home Run at AA. He's batting .500/.583/1.700 with 4 homers & 10 RBI in his first 3 games there. Thanks for taking a shot at me on my birthday ... Mahalo
Matt
PS. I'm also more worried about the Cubs taking Vitters with the 3rd pick in the draft too.

Hey now, don't be hatin' on the awesomeness that is the Picts QS machine. Everything else about this team is squarely meh, but we can turn in 6 innings of 3 run ball like clockwork. On the other hand, if'n you want to trade places in the standings, I'm game.
