Well, the Bulls' Championship season is off to a torrid start. I get home to find that one of my players is contemplating retirement (Capellan) and another was released this morning (Hermanson). Usually it takes a couple of days for panic mode to set in.

Anyways, I think I got to everyone before they left, but it was great seeing you guys again. Kenny, Nicky and Davey, I hope you guys have a safe trip home. Thanks again to Rich and Matt for providing the luxurious accommodations. Also thanks to Dave M for putting all the paperwork together and making life generally easy on the rest of us. Mahalo

I agree with Matt. Mark it down. It was good to see everyone especially the out of towners. Rich, Matt and David, Outstanding jobs yet again. I left a tip of .10 on the table (that was just dumb)!

I want to thank everyone for another entertaining and wonderful day. Thanks Rich for hosting - the accomodations were wonderful. I especially like that there was mustard on the refrigerator.

I'm sorry if I was a little more impatient than usual, but for those who were concerned, I made it to the airport in plenty of time. Got there by 6:00 for a 7:21 flight.

The flight took off around 11:30.

Anyway, good luck to all of you, and may Marcus Giles finally live up to his potential...

It was a great day.....Ditto on the Thanks to Rich on the venue (and to Matt for the help in set up and break down.) Thanks to David for all the work which makes our jobs as owners 100X easier. Glad to hear Kenn got there just in the Nick of time (no pun intended Nick) to catch his flight.

Adding my hooray. Finally got home last night at around 10pm. Just couldn't bring ourselves to leave the city yesterday. Thanks for the good times. It was just about as fun as every other time. That is to say, it's the best day of the year.

As for the "all Cardinals, lead the league after opening day" strategy: Even though Pujols went 0-2 with a couple of walks, Sportsline tells me to be patient because there's 161 games left. I dunno, I'm pretty nervous about him eating up all the ABs in my 1B slot. Listening to the Cubs on the radio as we drove home I was impressed by just how much the Pinella Cubs felt like the Baker Cubs. It's nice to have that kind of continuity...
