I am very much in support of the proposed deadline of 6:00 PM on Sunday. Now who'd a seen that coming? I am very much in support of Teddy, so specifically on Sunday by 6:00 PM works for me as well.

Aloha,
Well, now that my white blood cell count is dropping down to normal levels, I'm ready to jump back into the fray. The first cold of the season is always the worst.
I just threw out Saturday @ 8PM as an alternative to see what others thought. I guess the strongest argument for it would be that Dave could work on the weekly report without having to worry about effecting his productivity at work the next day. As I am one of the few remaining swinging bachelors in the group, I can safely say that it wouldn't effect my "social" life too much. Parties rarely get started before 10 and I can always do the work earlier in the day.
I'm used to preparing my moves well ahead of time since every third week I'm at the firehouse on any particular day of the week. Occasionally, I'll have to call Dave's cell if I hear about an injury while at work, but that's pretty rare. Well, I'm off to make some Eggos to wash this NyQuil taste out.
Just remember only 30 more shopping days until Winter Waivers. BTW, the offseason has been particularly kind to the Ruffins so far. He'd have to make some really tough decisions about Dellucci & Drew if they hadn't signed with AL teams. It'll be interesting to see who the last 2-3 cuts are though. Mahalo
Matt

I also support the 6:00 p.m. Sunday deadline. As far as I can tell, the only thing bad about it is it keeps Dave up later, which isn't bad for about 11 of us.
If the moves are not effective until Monday's games anyway, what does it matter if there is one game Sunday night? Are you saying there's the possibility that someone will make a move to activate a Sunday night player and then he gets hurt or something? Well, there's also the possibility that someone will trade for Pedro Martinez and he'll get hurt. I'd say that's a strong possibility.
Whoa, where did that come from? Anyway, 6:00 Sunday is fine with me. I like having all weekend to research (more likely I'll be scrounging at 5:49 to find a FA pitcher who got a hold last week).
