Hey Guys,
In an effort to allow David, and the EC, adequate time to find a replacement owner, it is with much regret and very mixed emotions that I announce that I have officially decided to hang up the cleats of the Stones for the last time.
While this is a difficult decision to make, I am confident that it is the right decision for all parties involved, but in particular, I am certain it is the right decision for me. I will admit I am having trouble letting go and that would fester in seasons to come, so it is time.
Know that it was fun (at least most of the time) and I have enjoyed getting to know many of you, even if it was only seeing each other at the annual auction. I will undoubtedly miss being a part of the league, especially one with the rich history of the CFCL. However, as some wise man once said, “All good things come to an end”.
Thanks for the memories and the friendships. I sincerely wish each of you the very best in your life’s pursuit, the best of health to you and your families and much success in your future CFCL campaigns.
Finally to David specifically: You are an absolute Gentleman and one of the truly good people in this some what messed up world we find ourselves living of late! Thanks for everything!
