A three game sweep?  Are you serious??? Three straight losses to the third worst team in the majors (no - check that, they might be the third best minor league team in the country)? And the last one to the extremely ordinary and Rebel Gledon Rusch? Boy if there are any Brewers fans out there, you might want to reconsider. |

Well, as I'm sure our esteemed colleague and former champion Steve was going to point out, the rampaging Cubs managed to lose the opening game in the series Rich. I direct you to my post in Steve's thread where I lamented Chris Capuano's 124 inning scoreless streak against the good guys on the North Side.  Steve, I feel your pain. With every win in the series, we moved further away from the #1 overall pick in the 2007 draft. Plus each win needlessly delays the termination of my personal nemesis, Dusty Baker. One last thing, I'd look good in a brown paper bag, right Steve? Mahalo Matt |

Instead of "big MO" on the Brewers side coming out of the break, they have big "OH NO"! I gotta be honest, my initial response to Rich was slightly longer and pointed out that it wasn't a sweep, but then I wanted to start crying again and I just didn't have the heart to get into a typing snip war! It really hurts! Maybe Ben Sheets, Toma Ohka and JJ Hardy will turn this meandering mess around! |

Yeah a guy at the office pointed out that the Cubs lost Thursday to the crew. But why let the facts stand in the way of a good teasing?
Actually I take no pride in the three out of four. This season has been an embarrassment (not as bad as 2004, but it's getting close).

Argue your point with facts, even if you have to make some up! Wait til next year, err month when we seek serious redemption and kick the snot out of you love-able losers! I was disheartened yesterday, but I am back tonight! The Cubs still suck. |
