Aloha everyone,
I just sent a note to everyone via e-mail, but neglected to change the title. Re: CFCL Transaction Primer refers to the opportunity to watch a Cubs game from one of the rooftops on Memorial Day. If you don't already have any plans and can afford the $110 for the ticket, maybe you can catch the game with me and some other baseball fanatics. A couple of Baseball Prospectus guys should be there too. Mahalo

Matt, Thanks for the heads-up and invite. As you hypothesized, the ticket price is a bit beyond the resources of this "family man", but I believe I'm already busy on Memorial Day anyway.
I've done the rooftop thing a few times in the past for work outings, and was glad to have experienced it (especially on someone else's dollar), but it's not my favorite way of enjoying a game. For one thing, not a lot of game watching went on and most of that was done via the television in the bar, while the rooftop was reserved for sunbathing (not necessarily a bad thing, depending on who's doing the bathing ;D) I suppose the experence would depend on which building you were in, so my experiences may not be representative. Also, I guess I was there with a bunch of people from the office who may not necessarily have been interested in watching the game to begin with, so that may have been a factor too. I imagine things would be quite different with Prospectus writers/readers.
Have fun! David
