Just wanted to quickly say.......again.....THANKS!
Wasn't much time to visit but had a blast today. Great to meet all of you in person and look forward to getting that chance to get to know you all better this season.
Pretty happy with how it went overall.....we'll see how it works out.
Thanks again....bed time....I'm fried!

Glad you had fun during the draft marathon. It was most excellent to finally have you with us. And, yes, you acquitted yourself quite admirably. I wish I had done half as well my first CFCL season. Ah, heck, who am I kidding? I wish I did as well as you most drafts.

I echo your sentiments, Nick. But, uh, guys? What's with the new dude running away with things? I haven't seen the standings today (thank you Mr URL Filter), but when I checked in last night, the Red Hots had a rather large lead on the rest of the field.
I know it's early, but come on...

Appreciate the kindness yet again Nick........and David. Can we just end the season today? Again.....we shall see how the season progresses.......as David said....."It's early." But I have to say I am very happy with the inaugural Mo's Red Hots franchise and how we shape up on paper.....Anyone interested in Klesko??? I am on a mission to show the CFCL world that it should have been ME that entered the CFCL two years ago.......... And at the same time......very very thankful to have gotten in this year. I sure do love this game.....and the competitiveness of the CFCL......Thanks again.

I think here in the first week you've already shown more success than I did that season. I'm sorry for making you wait two years...

"I am on a mission to show the CFCL world that it should have been ME that entered the CFCL two years ago." I think here in the first week you've already shown more success than I did that season. I'm sorry for making you wait two years... No apologies.......would I have liked to have gotten in two years ago? YOU BETCHA! Did I expect there to be an opening this year? Nope........getting in was gravy...... I owe a thanks to whoever spoke up saying there were three great candidates to get in two years ago kind of making the owner search easy and benefiting me. My secret auction strategy this year was to target guys who notoriously get off to fast starts so I could be near the top of the standings early thus justifying my inclusion here...........(in most evil voice) My plan is working.....it's working....hahahaha.

At least you didn't go the auction, WITH A PLAN (for the first time), and screw it up and then go through the rotation draft and pick up no viable reserves and find yourself needing to spend a ridiculous portion of your FAAB to put up few slugs for the prayer of a chance to make a roster move.
Who said we don't pay for our sins?

Or you can bid .40 on Chipper Jones and neglect to "plan" for his inevitable trip to the DL and get stuck playing him because their are no other 3Bs on your roster or available for FAAB. *bleah* Mahalo

At least you got a week out of your third baseman before he went on the DL.
Signed, A stupid Nomar Garciaparra owner.

The only way Mr Munson would tantalize me is if Jessica Alba and Jennifer Aniston were dangling from his legs Period | G | AB | R | H | 2B | 3B | HR | RBI | SB | CS | BB | SO | AVG | OBP | SLG | Last 7 Days | 5 | 11 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 3 | 4 | .182 | .357 | .273 | Last 7 Days | 5 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | .500 | .500 | .500 |
One of these players ate ~15.5% of an annual budget and the other was essentially free. Take a look in another week and weep gently into your cream soda while dreaming of an Alba - Aniston * sandwich. Take your time, I can wait—what with thug-nasty kickers like Lamb and Bell to hold down my CI while Mr. Munson chills by the the McHansen Fieldhouse whirlpool with his posse. ***While I might fight you for Alba, Aniston is the epitome of ick and all yours. **I keed because I identify. The Picts' history is riddled with huge contracts holding down my DL roster spot . I tried to break the streak this year by drafting players already on the DL. I call it the Innoculation Gambit.

Aw, aren't you being a little hard on Jennifer there Nick? She was so hot in Friends and Office Space. A flim which I believe is near and dear to your heart.
Cream soda? Now there's a legitimate ick. I only drink 7-up, Cherry 7-up when I feel like a nut. Mahalo

She was so hot in Friends and Office Space. Ummm, yeah. I think I'm going to have to disagree with you there. While [in my hypothetical single-male life] I probably wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers, she just ain't that fine. She's no Tautou or Siouxsie Sioux. You'll notice that no one ever quotes her lines from that movie. It's as if she were never in it (if only!). And Friends?! The best actor on that show was the monkey, and he ran off.
